Mixed Billing Practice

Our independent doctors primarily operate on a private billing basis, with fees payable at the time of consultation via cash, EFTPOS, or credit card (excluding American Express). Medicare rebates can be processed electronically for direct deposit, ensuring a seamless experience.

• It is a medicare requirement that you present your medicare card at the time of each consultation.
• After-hours rates apply before 8 am on weekdays.
• There is no medicare rebate for pre-employment or Insurance medicals.
• Workers compensation consultations are built at work cover approved rates. Patients are supposed to pay at the time of the consultation and will be able to claim back the whole fee from the work cover.
• Department of veterans affairs (DVA) patients are billed directly to DVA. Patients are asked to present their cards at each visit.
• Aged pensioners or health care card holders may be offered a discounted fee patients are asked to present their cards at each visit.
• Acupuncture/Laser consultations are privately billed.
